I read every note that comes in and typically respond within two business days. If your message concerns a time-sensitive event (a performance, syllabus deadline, or publication date), put that in the subject line so I can triage accordingly.
Yes—thoughtful suggestions are welcome, especially when they include a specific speech or exchange and a brief sense of the nihilistic pressure you hear in it. For the guiding method and how topics are chosen, see the Manifesto before you send your note.
Not at this time. Quintessence of Dust is a single-author series built as an interlinked sequence of close readings, where each essay deliberately cross-references earlier plays and arguments. If you have a correction or a citation to strengthen a reading, I’m grateful to receive it via the form.
Please write in with “Correction” in the subject line and include (1) the page URL, (2) the exact line or paragraph in question, and (3) the source you’re citing (edition, act/scene/line numbers when possible). I’ll review promptly and update the piece with a clear note when warranted.
